Raelene in the plant department is AMAZING!!!!
She went out of her way to help me get the plants I wanted out of their metal carriers that were wrapped in plastic. I showed up a little earlier than they opened but that didn't stop her from taking her exacto knife out and make sure I got the plants I wanted AND also walked me around and told me about other plants, their needs and life expectancy. Such a great employee. You are lucky to have her because she actually CARES!!!

In-store people are great; wouldn't recommend buying appliances without high level supervision at delivery
Forest Lake store finally cleaned up the mess with a new dryer that the first delivery crew messed up when they faked a side vent with the kit we had purchased elsewhere. They removed the factory duct going to the back of the dryer, didn't do the side vent right angle ductwork with the side vent kit and instructions we provided, but just attached a flexible duct to the side of the dryer to the exterior. At final inspection we didn't think to walk outside and make sure the dryer was actually blowing out to the exterior - and neither did this crew. When we discovered this 5-10 minutes after they left I reached them and they said they would try to come back; they didn't. Plus, they took all the parts including the side vent kit we had purchased. If they had just left it with us (why did they take it???) we could have done the side venting and all would have been good, though a bit annoying. We've been told after the fact that installation does not cover side venting, but we put that in the comments with our order and feel that someone should have seen that and reached out to advise us. Thus when they faked doing the side venting, we had no idea they were clueless and lacked competence. A 2nd crew came four days later, said the dryer was not repairable so they took it and promised an exchange, which apparently they processed as a return with refund and so no one contacted us about redelivery as promised. 3 online chat sessions with different stories and promises that we would get a call, and another week went by. Finally someone on the escalation team got things figured out, advised us to visit the Forest Lake store to re-order. Forest Lake store was great. LESSON LEARNED: Order in the store, not online. Be hyper-vigilant when they deliver and "install." Don't let them leave until you've covered everything about the function (next time around I'd have a checklist for myself).

Best Night Ever at the Home Depot in Forest Lake
I seriously had one of the best shopping experiences ever at the Home Depot in FL - the store was clean and the associates were incredibly helpful and friendly and efficient. Shout out to Cheryl in Appliances, Claire at the Pro Desk, Eric and Dillion in Paint and Mason on the check out - they truly had the A team there on their game and it was fantastic! :)

                Good employee help
I am legally blind in one eye. I need a specific lamp to help me see to read. The great employee, Jason, explained to me what was wrong with my lamp, which I brought with me since it stopped working. He found a substitute that I desperately needed. He walked me to a nice cashier and gave me a discount which I also needed. This type of lamp was shockingly expensive. The cashier, Damaris, was so nice. Both were very helpful and went out of their way to help me get help. I didn’t have to go online and order something which I can’t do, so it really helped me in ways both of them did not know. I did not reveal my blindness to them, so i took it as these are really good employees and they weren’t helping me out of pity, but genuinely cared. Thank you so much.

                  Very friendly staff!
Every time I shop here I am asked if I need any help. In a world where customer service is slipping it’s nice to shop somewhere and have people help.
